Abbadia a Rofeno is a beautiful medieval abbey, recently renovated, located in the pristine area of Tuscany called Crete Senesi in the Town of Asciano, 20 Km from Siena. The gourmet association Altopalato organizes a series of weekends with a theme. Participants take part in an itinerary that covers topics such as old recipes from the Italian Renaissance and includes taste testing and cooking lessons. Their first weekend programme is scheduled for April 13-15, 2007.
